Collection: Augusta

Augusta, found on the South West coast of WA where the Blackwood river eventually finds its way to Flinders Bay. It is also the closest town to Cape Leeuwin and its famous historic lighthouse, which is on the furthest Southwest corner of the continent.

Augusta is a very popular holiday destination spot and is also favourable for retirees who wish to enjoy the cooler weather of this region. Many holiday activities include swimming, fishing and boating with many people taking advantage of the Town's huge marina.

The coastline near Augusta was first sighted by European sailors in 1622 on the ship "Leeuwin" and the land was mapped and subsequently named.
