Collection: Boranup Forest

Boranup Forest, nestled within Western Australia's iconic Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, is a haven for those seeking ethereal light and towering karri trees. As dawn breaks, soft beams filter through the canopy, illuminating the forest floor with shifting pattens of golds and greens. The contrast between the pale trunks and the lush undergrowth creates a natural cathedral that feels both ancient and alive and offers endless creative composition opportunities.

Beyond its visual beauty, Boranup Forest carries a rich ecological and cultural story, and the region is home to diverse wildlife, wildflowers, and unique textures shaped by coastal winds that sweep in from nearby Hamelin Bay. I've always been drawn to the forest's dramatic vertical lines but also to the sense of immersion it provides. This is one of my favourite forests and it feels like an escape into a world where light, shadow, and nature work in perfect harmony and offers plenty of inspiration and photogenic landscapes to explore.
