Introducing Paul
I was born and bred in the United Kingdom but my family decided to emigrate to Australia when I was a fourteen year old boy. One of the best decisions my parents ever made and it wasn’t long before we settled in to life in the warmth and sunshine of this incredible country.
I’ve always had a love for the Southwest of Western Australia and in 2010 an opportunity presented itself for me to permanently live in this beautiful part of the world.
It was then that my journey into the craft began and I started to take an interest in photography as a hobby and bought my first basic camera kit.
The more I went out with my camera the more passionate I became and I was constantly on the search for new locations. From the beginning, I was immediately attracted to landscapes, seascapes and waterfalls, all of which became the main focus of my work.
There is nothing better than going out on a fresh, crisp early morning in search of the prize for the day and I have seen some amazing locations. I’m totally in awe of the surrounding beauty that Mother Nature has provided and I’m thankful that I get to enjoy seeing these places and capture them for others to enjoy too.
The creative side of me has always been there, way back to when I was a young boy, I just never really realised its true potential. As a photographer I have had no formal training and I am completely self taught with plenty of trial and error along the way mixed in with some good results.
As time went by I soon started to realise that photography was becoming a big part of my life and the more effort and work I put into my images the better they became. So, with some amazing encouragement and support from my partner Ali, family and friends my hobby has moved to the next level and my small business has evolved.
I hope you enjoy my work as much as I have enjoyed putting it all together.
